Masjid An-Nur And I

My day at the office was a colorful one. Earlier, I thought that the day would be a smooth sailing ones but not until my current boss called me merely to screw me up for tendering my resignation prior to me joining new job at a new organization. To make things worse, he called up my future boss just to screw her up for stealing. Even if he upset that I am leaving to be it just between him and me but he likes to drag things from small to big matters and consequently it affected me where I got screwed up from both parties. The bright sun that shines above me turned to be a stormy one where I was deeply under pressure prior to his act.

Since my day had already been spoiled up, so I decided to leave the office early and I drove my trusted Maria Mercedes slowly down the Federal Highway heading down to Subang Jaya and dropped over at Masjid An-Nur USJ3&4 to perform my Zohor prayer. After Zohor prayer, I continued my journey down to Taipan Triangle USJ10; a spot where parking is the main issue over there. I did not want to waste my time searching for parking whereas others were doing not only double but triple parking (how could it be?) so I opted to park my car at the covered car park. After parking my car at my usual favorite spot; exit directly to Starbucks Taipan, my usual hangout place where I would spend my time alone there while searching for solutions to my problems.

As usual, I ordered my all time favorite drink, Coffee Caramel Frappucino and had an extremely light lunch, a croissant dipped with butter. While sipping my frappy and enjoying the patisserie I surfed the internet and off course this site would be my most visited site; Facebook and I posted a status about the incident happened today. The status received 38 feedback from my friends and most of them told me that I am not alone as they will always be with me no matter what happened. One of the first person to comment on my status is my long term childhood friend, by the name of Faizal Reza, somehow he made my day and followed by another friend of mine Nusi, thanks guys for bringing back my smile hehehehe.... truly appreciate that. While surfing the internet Oh God! the internet connection became extremely slow and few of pages could not be opened and if it did, the page would only open half way and then left with blank pages...deep in my heart DANGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! (followed by Astaghfirullah)......

Time goes by slowly then only I realized that it was already 5.55 pm and I whispered (Astaghfirullah) I have not perform my Asar prayer yet... quickly I switched off the laptop and headed back to the basement and get my car and rushed down back to Masjid Annur USj3&4. Since I am already there therefore I decided to stay put till Isyak prayer. While waiting for the Maghrib prayer, Suddenly few fond memories that I had inside the Masjid came before me slowly; so I decided to go the to the playground, where I used to play in the old days before I stumbled upon a newly build structure nearing to the mosque and according to the jemaah, he said that is the "Bilik Pengurusan Jenazah" where the room had already catered 2 deaths in the USJ3&4 area to date. The first jenazah that was managed in this room was Allahyarham Tuan Haji Abdul Jalil Bin Bahari (refer to the earlier posting Haji Abdul Jalil Bin Bahari Dalam Kenangan) and followed by of the Qariah's wife a few weeks after Haji Jalil passed away. While recapping the good deeds ever done by Haji Jalil suddenly... "Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar...." owh it was time for Maghrib prayer. After Maghrib prayer, I went out to meet some of my father's old friend such as Uncle Mat, Uncle Zain, Uncle Kassim etc and later after that I went back to the praying hall listening to the religious talk by Ustaz Roslan where he discussed about "Ibadat throughout ones' life"; pretty interesting Alhamdulillah... and I decided to stay till Isyak prayer.

Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah for giving me the chance to fulfill my wish to stay back at the Masjid and at the same time too putting myself closer to Him. Subhanallah.... Ya Allah, although I had a bad day today in the office but I am thankful to you Ya Allah for bringing me closer to You Ya Allah.... Thank you Ya Allah for everything! Amin......

P/S Before I made my move, I managed to take some pictures of Masjid Annur and how it had graced after 14 years standing strong amidst all the houses in the USJ4 area. I remembered when Masjid Annur started its first Tarawikh prayer without proper amenities and infrastructures and how active I was together with some friends (wonder if they are still around) running here and there around the masjid before we were scolded by Arwah Haji Jalil then only we kept quiet but it was not that long before we started it again hahahah... Gosh, time flies and Haji Jalil is no longer around here (Al-Fatihah to him) and I am now somebody's husband.... anyway happy viewing all pictures of Masjid Annur USJ3&4.

My Dad & I

When I first joined MyBenz, I was not driving nor owning any Mercedes-Benz vehicle back then but I only used my father's trusted W124 260E to join the crowd of MyBenz. From there and then my love for this brand grew stronger.

My father had owned two Mercedes-Benzes so far. His first Mercedes was a 1984 Mercedes-Benz 230E W123 recond unit bought in 1992. The car clad in metallic maroon color with beige cloth interior. The car came with a sunroof and AMG Penta sports rims (offset rims). The car was such a robust car and he did some modification on the engine, the result, although only using 3 speed automatic transmission the car was capable to do 210km/h without any problems and can actually do burnout without losing the power.

He sold the car after the car met with an accident in 1994. The car met with a head-on collision accident at Karak Highway with a Honda Accord, at 110km/h my dad's driver escaped unhurt whereby the Honda Accord's driver was severely injured prior with the impact of the accident. Indeed the W123 was a strong machine.

His second Mercedes is a W124 260E, he has owned it for almost 11 years and the car still pulling strong effortlessly and capable to attempt high speed albeit of its age. If some people opt to plunk a Japanese heart into their Mercedes, but my father is persistent saying that no other brand that can make a very reliable, durable and long lasting engine like Mercedes-Benz. The parts are easily available and maintenance is cheap too. He has never thought of selling it off as it is one of his best car ever.

As for me, looking at my father's love and passion towards Mercedes-Benz, finally I bought myself a W210 E270 CDI in April 2010. Some people said that diesel powered cars are problematic but I have driven it for almost a year (Gosh that long!!!!) and it is my first car and I am very happy with the performance and maintenance of the car. I have to agree with some diesel champions here that once u drive a diesel powered car u wont even think twice nor thrice to switch back to petrol powered car. The fuel is very efficient 6.9l/100km for highway driving and 7.0-8.0l/100km for town driving.

Last but not least, Nothing Will A Driver Faithful to A Car Than A Car That is Faithful to its driver, unlike any others; Mercedes-Benz. This is the uniqueness of a Mercedes-Benz drivers compared to other brands.

Mitsubishi Lancer vs Proton Inspira

The article posted by Shamsuddin B Jaafar in his posting Proton vs Malay in his blog Life's Remain somehow triggered my interest to share my personal point of view regarding this so-called the latest model coming out from Proton's oven. Moment pictures of the Proton Inspira were published publicly, I sat back and wonders what improvements have Proton made since its establishment in 1983 being the pioneer in National car maker. From the Saga down to the Persona, I can't seem to see what sort of improvements they have actually realized. I wonder, whether Proton is being over-protected or what that makes it difficult to compete amidst other brands in the market? Up till when are we going to rely on one particular models to sustain the survival of this National's bundle of joy? Proton has been relying too much on their best selling models like the Wira (thank God they have phased out the models and replaced it with Persona) and Waja (about to be changed with the Proton Lancer Inspira) but where is our identity?

Back in 1996 Proton acquired Lotus, a well-known brand amongst roadster lovers all over the world but then only I knew that the company was in a bad shape and about to shut down their business hence resulted with the acquisition. At first I was proud to see that finally a local product like Proton is heading towards its hall of fame by acquiring a well-known sports car brand and they pro-claimed that they have actually tuned the suspensions of their cars with the Lotus touched and it can be seen inside the Satria GTi, the first sports hatchback produced by Proton to use Lotus handling technology. However moments they claimed that Gen-2, Persona, Satria Neo and Saga are also using the same technology. In my personal point of view, by doing this, it makes world's brand no longer exclusive nor unique. If it is for a sports hatchback like the Satria Neo then it is one of the unique character of the car, for its capability in road handling. Other models like Persona, Saga etc, these models must have at least one or two character that makes it special for one to have it. I mean something that can be shouted as a core selling point for the models.

When Volkswagen AG came into the picture stating their interest to joint venture with Proton some 10 years back, I was not hoping of a Proton Perdana in a Phaeton shell nor a Proton Gen2 in a Golf shell but a rebranded version of Proton. What Volkswagen AG offered was they wanted to be a major shareholder in Proton, which on the brighter side I saw an extreme improvement on the quality of Proton cars as Germans are very particular over the total built quality of their products. But well, as usual, typical Malaysian's they said that we are going to lose the identity of our national cars, it is a form of imperialism and gone are the Malaysia Boleh spirit. Well, Volkswagen AG had proven to the world that they are capable in bringing the utmost sinking brand back on its track, they acquired Skoda; a Czechoslovakian car manufacturer and within a year or two the sinking brand made a dramatic come back with all new design and engineering derived from Volkswagen AG. The brand remained and the republic's national car status also remained but their popularity increased worldwide. I can see a tremendous improvement by having Volkswagen AG on board with Proton but however, due to the inferiority complex that we are losing our identity the dealing discussion was called off.

Proton feels that they are the best amongst the best in the market by shouting that they have Lotus suspension, tough shell (errr that tough???) and improved quality (too good to be true). By having this kind of impression, Proton is and will never be able to compete or stand align with other car makers. The highest quality Proton is not sold in Malaysia but at the oversea markets hence giving Malaysians a second class treatment by giving cars that are not up to the Euro standards, I strongly disagree with this as we as the producer of this car, we are the one who should be given the first class cars; but again, cost is very high (typical excuses) hence we can only make do with the available specs given. Haaihhhh....

Selamat Pagi Cinta

This is not a commentator about the Malay movie titled "Selamat Pagi Cinta" but this is my own version of Selamat paagi cinta. As usual I woke up for my Subuh prayer and after prayer I woke her up; moment she woke up, I whispered to her, "Selamat Pagi Sayang".... ahhh to me it was the most memorable memory for me. It has been 1 year and 6 months since we got married and our love just keep on growing stronger day after day. She is everything to me, a day without her is just like I am crossing over fiery river. She means everything to me. For the rest of my life, she will always be the one who cheers me up, standing next to me when I am down and sad. She had saw me standing tall and she had saw me falling down but she appeared with her magic charms saying that she will always be with me no matter what happen. 

Subhanallah!!!.... she is the best woman in my whole life I ever had. Ya Allah! Thank you for granting my wish to have myself a wife with beautiful look and heart. Forever I will always be in her debt for everything. My day wont last without her by my side. I cant live without her even for just a second. When I am mad, she touched me with all her love and tender calming me down telling me to be patient and willingly accepting His tests. When I am sad, she touched my heart and cried along with me saying that I am not alone. She means everything to me.

Norshahidah Mohd Mahayadin, you are the most beautiful woman in my life. I have never seen anyone like you before. You are my everything sayang. You came into my life after my heart was badly shattered and complete the puzzle of my shattered heart. Allah is Most Powerful creator sayang! He matched us when both of us were looking for love and today we are flying high up the sky together. You will always be in my heart sayang. Oh My God! Tears started to drop on my cheek when reminding her. I love you always sayang!

We have a long journey to go sayang. Hope we will go on and on forever sayang.... I love u always....................

When Old Meets New

I was about to park my car on that Monday morning, as usual, Monday morning blues that always haunted each human beings who had a blast during their weekend :-) I was rushing to attend the usual Monday morning meeting chaired by my charismatic boss, Kumaran Rathnasamy. As I parked my car illegally at the NAZA Motor car park, I stumbled upon the elder brother of my car, the W123 Mercedes-Benz parked at the NAZA Motor customers' car park. The car still looking magnificent albeit of its aging factor; German technology or Deutsche Technologie.

I can still see the signature design of Mercedes-Benz at every corner of the car. From the tail lights down to the signature radiator grille, I saw over-engineering technologies featured inside this car. Yup, I guess that German did a very good homework when it comes to everlasting design. Just look at the W123 and W124, the car is still looking magnificent cruising on the highway and some even capable of doing high speeds (modification with Japanese engine is discounted from this statement). Wow.... and it so happened that I parked my car next to it, and off course being a Mercedes-Benz fans, I cant resist from taking some picture of this two different generations of Mercedes-Benz E-class. 

Previously, the E was the nomenclature of Einspritzung for the older medium sized Mercedes-Benz coded as W115 (280E), W123 (230E and 280E) and it was later rebadged to E-class during the debut of the facelifted W124 (E200, E220, E280, E320 etc).

A Blast From The Past: 1st May 2009, Historical Date for me and her

A new book of my life has just begun…..Fadhil & Shahidah

“Saya terima nikah Norshahidah Binti Mohd Mahayadin dengan mas kahwinnya RM80.00 tunai” Alhamdulillah in a mere one sentence, I am now officially a husband to Norshahidah Binti Mohd Mahayadin. 1 May 2009 will always be remembered as the magical date for both of us as while the world celebrated labor day, we tied the knot for us to be together eternally. I guess I am the luckiest guy on earth as I have gotten myself a good, beautiful and gorgeous looking wife like her. She completes my life which was rather birzirk earlier. I am now trying to be a good husband to my wife and also to enable her to carry on my next generations.
I remembered this byte of a song sang by Saiful, “Ku juga mencintai dirimu, mengapa sukar ku luahkan, bukan sengaja ku menahan, bibir membeku lidah terkelu, ku juga mencintai dirimu, kau amat sempurna buatku, bukannya saja aku biarkan, kan ucap jua padamu………….” May the flame of love that has been nurtured earlier grows stronger each days as we move on with our new phase of life.
I pray each day that we will always be like this forever. She completes my life with her love and tenderness. I am happy for both of us, in fact the whole world is happy for us actually. Another marriage has taken into place; where a prince and princess tied their knot and sail in the open sea together. I will always love my wife, Norshahidah Mohd Mahayadin till the end of my life. May Allah Bless this marriage with all His Blessings.

From Ara Damansara to Kelana Jaya with love….. no one would ever expect that an acquaintanship in Perodua Kembara club ended with marriage between Ahmad Fadhil Zhafri Ahmad Fuad and his wife Norshahidah Mohd Mahayadin. In fact she is also a member of MyBenz, another club where Ahmad Fadhil Zhafri share his passion in Mercedes Benz cars. Thanks to all friends for all the supports given throughout the relationships. We have gone through a lot before we finally settled down.  Pray for our happiness in the world and the here after…Aminnn…….
