Reality in Life....And Are We Grateful Enough to Him?

Actually this was adapted from a message gotten from a friend of mine who is staying afar from me. How many of you perceived that people are leading a good lifestyle by looking at the type of car they drive, their clothing, where they eat and where they go shopping? I am sure that most of us are perceiving that way each time when we look at them. But actually, they are only looking at the surface but the reality is...... come and let see these situation...

1. You went to a shopping mall and passed by a well-known branded boutique in there and saw few ladies or man busy choosing their selection of clothes, shoes and other apparels. Deep in your heart, wow, how I wish that I can be like them, able to buy expensive luxury items but have we know actually the reality among those shoppers. They are actually buy it via credit cards which means they owe the bank for the branded items they purchased and they are actually in depression thinking on how to pay back to the bank for what they have spent via credit cards. 
2. You were in a jam right in the middle of the city. For all you know a luxury car of a well-known brand passed by you in the traffic congestion and you saw a man sitting comfortably behind the car and you perceive this man is so rich and he just could not care less on what car he drives as long as it must be expensive. But reality is, although he is sitting comfortably at the back of his luxury car, he has a lot to think about. His debts are huge and most of his belongings belongs to the bank and he got to work hard every now and then merely to cope with the skyrocketing cost of living and he can hardly asleep thinking about ways to pay all his debts. 
3. You went to a function and saw this lovely couple. he wife is beautiful and the husband is good looking guy and rich. It come across your mind that this couple must be a loving and romantic couple and how you wish that you can be like them. But actually, their marriage are on a rock and waiting for divorce. She is not happy with her marriage but had to pretend that she is happy. 

Based on these three situations, different people have different problems. Therefore, perceiving that one is leading a good life while you are still not getting what you want, think back again. I learned something from here that we always got blindfolded with the reality of life. And that is why we as the servant of Allah must at all time be thankful and grateful with what we have today. Yes our life may not be the same like others but be grateful and thankful for what we have today and work hard in a smart way to achieve it. Insya-Allah... always pray to Him and seek for His blessings.
